Don't worry, everybody who's new! It really doesn't take that long to get used to living here. It's sort of scary actually... But you know, I've been here for a few "experiments" now and it's really not that bad!

There are a few people to watch out for, I suppose.

...Does anybody want to hear a puzzle? Oh, or, does anybody know a good puzzle? I'd love to hear a few from other worlds! Sometimes I feel like I've done all the puzzles on Earth already, and I'm not even that old...

It's not really like what you think of when you hear that word. I've seen weirder things happen at home! [Layton's London is, if nothing else, absolutely crazy.]

The last thing that happened was that everybody started...er...f-falling in love with each other. Even that wasn't so bad. [Look, the boy is blushing.]

So that sort of thing is an experiment? Freyr isn't against the wonderful power of love, though Freyr is also sure he wouldn't want to be forced to love someone he doesn't.

No one will take Yamato Nadeshiko's place! The perfection that is Mayura could never be taken by anyone!

Joe, wearing a mask and carrying an empty sack, leaves his house. An hour later he returns with a full sack. He goes into a room and turns out the lights.

Oh. Um. Well. It's...different for everyone I think.

Ah, that's a good point. [Well that wasn't quite the answer Sabriel had been hoping for but she is still a little curious about the rest of his message. With a small smile she offers.]

My name is Sabriel. Would you be able to share a puzzle with me instead?

I'm Luke! [Yes of course he will share a puzzle. To do otherwise would be so ungentlemanly.]

Mr. Red, Mr. White, and Mr. Green were going to lunch together. One wore a red hat, one wore a white hat, and one wore a green hat. "I say, Mr. Green!" said the man in the red hat, "Have you noticed that none of us are wearing the hat with a color that matches our name?"

What color hat is each man wearing?

It's nice to meet you Luke. [Humming softly at the puzzle she rubs her chin as she thinks it out.]

Now...hm, if Red-hat is speaking to Mr. Green that means Mr. Green's hat must be white since the red-hat is already accounted for so Mr. Red...would be wearing a green-hat which reveals the red-hat owner to be Mr. White...?

[That makes sense right? She didn't fuddle anything?]

Of course, if they're gentleman they'll probably have to take their hats off during their meal.

I'd like to hear a puzzle. [He's pretty smart! Maybe he could figure it out.]

All right! Get ready, this is a good one.

A man owns a cellar with three light bulbs in it. Upstairs, where he is, there's a wall panel with three switches, one for each light bulb. If he can only go down into the cellar one time to check, how will he be able to label each switch for the correct bulb?

[subsultive]

[Oh, this one's a good one. Give him a moment...]

He'd have to turn on one switch for a couple of minutes, then turn it off, and turn on a second switch.... Then, when he went down, the lightbulb connected to the first switch would be warm, the one connected to the second would be on, and the cold one would be connected to the one he hadn't turned on at all. Right?

That's great! You got it on the first try.

I wouldn't recommend touching a hot lightbulb, though.
