[Puzzle 005]

Don't worry, everybody who's new! It really doesn't take that long to get used to living here. It's sort of scary actually... But you know, I've been here for a few "experiments" now and it's really not that bad!

There are a few people to watch out for, I suppose.

...Does anybody want to hear a puzzle? Oh, or, does anybody know a good puzzle? I'd love to hear a few from other worlds! Sometimes I feel like I've done all the puzzles on Earth already, and I'm not even that old...

Experiments? Freyr is concerned about the mention of "experiments" in such a way....

Though Freyr also likes puzzles.

So that sort of thing is an experiment? Freyr isn't against the wonderful power of love, though Freyr is also sure he wouldn't want to be forced to love someone he doesn't.

No one will take Yamato Nadeshiko's place! The perfection that is Mayura could never be taken by anyone!

[He only ever made sense half the time.]

Freyr would feel violated if he was forced to love another.

Yes! Freyr knows a good one.

Joe, wearing a mask and carrying an empty sack, leaves his house. An hour later he returns with a full sack. He goes into a room and turns out the lights.

Could you please tell me about the people to look out for and why? Since you've been here longer than I have I'd value your opinion.

[Sorry for bursting in without an introduction but she needs as much information about possible 'unsavoury' individuals as possible.]

I'd like to hear a puzzle. [He's pretty smart! Maybe he could figure it out.]

Did you ever discover the meaning to your book?
phantom_thief_freyr: (Charming)

[personal profile] phantom_thief_freyr 2012-03-14 05:32 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, yes. The puzzle part is figuring out what he did.
phantom_thief_freyr: (Huh?)

[personal profile] phantom_thief_freyr 2012-03-14 06:53 pm (UTC)(link)
That's obvious, but your suppose to fill in the lacking part of the story. What did he fill it up with? Why? Maybe Freyr should have thought of a different kind of puzzle.

Yep! That's the sort of puzzle this is. But don't worry, you don't have to get the answer all at once. You are allowed to ask yes and no questions if you need to.

Ah, that's a good point. [Well that wasn't quite the answer Sabriel had been hoping for but she is still a little curious about the rest of his message. With a small smile she offers.]

My name is Sabriel. Would you be able to share a puzzle with me instead?

It is. Very heavy. Filled to the brim!

Oh, that's too bad. Have you heard any new puzzles from people here?

[Oh, this one's a good one. Give him a moment...]

He'd have to turn on one switch for a couple of minutes, then turn it off, and turn on a second switch.... Then, when he went down, the lightbulb connected to the first switch would be warm, the one connected to the second would be on, and the cold one would be connected to the one he hadn't turned on at all. Right?
