[Puzzle 005]

Don't worry, everybody who's new! It really doesn't take that long to get used to living here. It's sort of scary actually... But you know, I've been here for a few "experiments" now and it's really not that bad!

There are a few people to watch out for, I suppose.

...Does anybody want to hear a puzzle? Oh, or, does anybody know a good puzzle? I'd love to hear a few from other worlds! Sometimes I feel like I've done all the puzzles on Earth already, and I'm not even that old...

I'd like to hear a puzzle. [He's pretty smart! Maybe he could figure it out.]

[Oh, this one's a good one. Give him a moment...]

He'd have to turn on one switch for a couple of minutes, then turn it off, and turn on a second switch.... Then, when he went down, the lightbulb connected to the first switch would be warm, the one connected to the second would be on, and the cold one would be connected to the one he hadn't turned on at all. Right?

It does seem like a pretty bad idea... Can I tell a riddle too?

Okay, let's see... [Something pretty easy to start out with, maybe? But that lightbulb riddle hadn't been too easy.

Wordplay it is.]

What has one letter and starts with an E?
subsultive: (025 strike up the band)

[Does he want to become part of the Innocence cast they all stuff their faces He'll just have to step up his game, then! Even if Luke looks pretty young.]

That's right. I guess that was kind of easy, huh? [Your move, Luke.]

[Yeah, sure!]

Um... Hm... Why not just rip both cotton balls in half to make a third, and then plug all three of them up like that?

[That is so not the answer.]
subsultive: (022 beneath the milky twilight)

wow i'm really awful at riddles i shouldn't have done this

[personal profile] subsultive 2012-03-20 05:30 pm (UTC)(link)
This one's harder... [Hmmm.] In the left and right holes, maybe?
subsultive: (031 i have you)

you don't understand i'm really stupid when it comes to this stuff

[personal profile] subsultive 2012-03-20 06:16 pm (UTC)(link)
If you wouldn't mind.
subsultive: (039 what did you possibly expect)

creative /=/ smart or good at riddle things though!

[personal profile] subsultive 2012-03-20 06:22 pm (UTC)(link)
...Oh!

[Duhh.]

Of course... It's really simple. [Man.] Your ears, right?
subsultive: (057 swallowin' the ground)

[personal profile] subsultive 2012-03-22 01:07 am (UTC)(link)
Probably...

[Hmmm.]

A farmer has a cat, a chicken, and a bag of feed. He has to get all three over a river, but his boat can only carry himself and one other passenger. He can't leave the chicken with the feed or the cat with the chicken, because the latter - in both cases - will get eaten. How does he do it?
subsultive: (032 breathing down my neck)

[personal profile] subsultive 2012-03-24 04:33 am (UTC)(link)
Well done! You're pretty smart for a kid... [Not that he wasn't a kid himself but yeah.]
