He'd have to turn on one switch for a couple of minutes, then turn it off, and turn on a second switch.... Then, when he went down, the lightbulb connected to the first switch would be warm, the one connected to the second would be on, and the cold one would be connected to the one he hadn't turned on at all. Right?
