[Luke wakes up all alone in a strange apartment and this is not acceptable. There is a whole list of reasons why but it's been summed up pretty well, right there - all alone, strange apartment. No familiar setting, no city, no brother.

This is why he's careening around town in his pajamas* not ten minutes later, at least remembering to put on his slippers and hat. He stops in the shadows by the bakery to open the journal and try something.]

[Whether or not that produces a result, he'll go back to his running and searching.

And will slam smack into more than one person as he goes. Mostly from behind. He's a slight kind of thing so it won't hurt the other person much!]

Luke freezes in place and pulls his finger from where it's been marking the journal.]

Benjamin! I'm...I'm outside, looking for you!

Asuma Dove. [ Hm...he doesn't remember? He's sure he introduced himself...Huh. Maybe he's just not a memorable guy.

He'll offer a hand to help Luke up. ] We've run into each other a few times, while Layton was off solving a mystery.

Asuma Dove... [That sounds like a cover name if he's ever heard one. But this guy can't be another immortal, then - despite calling him Luke.]

[Wow! She almost didn't notice Luke running by at that speed when she left the bakery. With a box full of donuts and some plastic, golden coloured tiara on her forehead she follows after Luke into the shadows.

... He's talking to his journal though, so she'll be courteous and wait for him to finish. But as soon as he's done-]

[Oh look. He's smiling. Still looking kind of frantic, but smiling.]
