[Puzzle 010]
[All things considered, Luke has had better days.
It’s a strange and bothersome sort of Monday, isn’t it? No? Best check, because the child in the blue hat going from building to building armed with an array of chalks could end up bothering some a great deal.
What is he doing with the chalk? Well, to the extent that it is possible, all available flat vertical surfaces (within his reach, you understand) end up looking something like this. He has gone absolutely puzzle-mad. In the process of writing he circles buildings several times, dropping to the next line when he has gone around once.
Expecting to solve them? Good luck. Some are from memory but most are just words and numbers coming out of his head. The urge to write them all down is undefeatable. He ran out of paper – his apartmentmates will find the place strewn with loose pages covered in writing.
Good luck interrupting his puzzle-scrawling frenzy. He hasn't even stopped to eat.]
[[ooc: The result of a Katie-influenced desire to be creative in a visible fashion meeting Luke’s major source of creativity. Voila! Your walls are covered in puzzle.]]

Action
[He looks at Luke. If one of them comes from a strange world, he's pretty sure it's the one who's scrawling on the wall like he's possessed.]
They're just got nothin' to do with my job. Or anybody else's, really.
Action
[Seems to have forgotten that Firo is from the mafia. Camorra. Whatever.]
Action
Action
Action
[Thank goodness for that.]
Who's this Professor Layton guy?
Action
Action
[He gestures to the writing.]
So he taught you all a' these?
Action
Of course being a professor is a real job!
Action
[Firo raises an eyebrow; it's pretty impressive that such a small kid can up with all of these.]
It's basically just bein' a teacher, right? I was talkin' about a "puzzle expert."
Action
[Luke turns and points his chalk at Firo!]
And it's something I like too!
Action
Action
Action
[If Luke didn't know why Czes doesn't always get along with Firo, he probably does now.]
Action
Yes you are! [Obviously you don't understand how important the puzzles really are, Firo!]
Action
Of course I am. Doesn't take an expert to figure out that puzzle.
Action
Action
Oh, come on. There's nothin' wrong with jokin' round a bit.
Action
[And that stung, Firo. He's trying (when not possessed by a puzzle-creating force) to make friends and impress the guy.]
Action I'm sorry, Luke :'(
[...And now Mr. Oblivious will make it all worse.]
Action you bet you are, buddy
Then I'll 'scribble on a wall' somewhere else!
[And feel terrible later when he's come to his senses.]
Action /sobs
[Firo takes a few steps after Luke, reaching out to grab his shoulder.]
What's your problem?
Action man he just wants to be friends
[Usually he isn't so defensive of the puzzle habit, either.]
Action ...Luke, you need better taste.
[He'd protest that his activities are worthwhile because they help his Family, but he's starting to realize that maybe defending himself isn't the point here. He sighs, runs a hand through his hair, and swallows his pride. Maybe he was being a bit of a jerk. He was prickly as a kid, too (and still is, but he probably won't admit it).]
...Okay, fine. I'm sorry, okay? There's... nothin' wrong with puzzles.
