[Everyone around Luke is so sad lately. Some of the things he's heard about people going home are just heartbreaking.

It's hard to be sad about people leaving when no one from the world you belong to is here, particularly not anyone close. Instead, Luke has been trying to come up with a way to pass the time.]

Would anyone like to hear a puzzle? [Aware of how similar that sounds to someone he does miss, Luke winces a little and turns the book upright instead of flat.] I'll give everybody different ones this time, so you can't overhear the right answer and have it spoiled.

Or let's play a game! ...Uhm, but it is a puzzle game. Still, if we do it right everyone could play a little if they wanted to.

I'll give everyone a puzzle, and the first person to solve it with the right answer gets to give out the next one, for someone else to try to solve. We'll have to be careful about not stealing a chance from someone if we know the answer and they don't... [We. More like Luke will need to be careful.] But I want to try it! We'll just all have to be gentlemanly with each other.

Oh. Uh. And, um, ladylike. S-Sorry.

Luke will start, and the first correct guesser gets to post his/her own puzzle (in a new sub-thread under the 'puzzle game' heading, to help with keeping things noticeable!) for the group to try to solve next! This can keep going on, so if you miss out on one, no worries - just try for the next one! You are not limited to wordplay either; go ahead with math puzzles or images or anything, really, that is confounding and must be solved!

Luke will do his best not to just answer them all. He's solved a lot of puzzles.

Well...all I can say is that I think they could see each other because they were facing each other, across the ship!

Wow really?! Any puzzle at all?

I bet he'd really like the New World then. There's lots of weird stuff to solve there!

[Okay. Maybe he really is talking about - judging by the clues - somewhere in, say, South America. If he substitutes Equator for Grand Line and jumps back to what New World used to mean and...well, it is across an ocean from London for sure.

Okay. This makes sense now. Plus he's talking to a kid, and kids don't always have the right words. He's met Yotsuba.]

I've never been across an ocean before.

I haven't been across it exactly, just on it. It's fun! They have one here, right? Even if it's... a small one? That doesn't make sense though, oceans are too big. I guess the barrier cuts it off, huh?

Yeah, a ship would probably just run right into it. It's a lot bigger than that, though, I bet.

What? Really? Even a ship huh... can anything get through it? What's it look like?

Oh, uh...I haven't actually seen the barrier for myself. But they say it's invisible, so I suppose there isn't much to see.

What? Like invisible cliffs? What if people climb up?

No, not like that. It makes a bowl, upside-down. Like if you turned one over on top of a beetle or something, it couldn't climb up and get out either.

So it's too smooth? And dome shaped?

Yeah, I think so. I've never actually been there.

But then my Papa could still break it. He can shake anything like earthquakes!

Really? I don't think anyone has been able to break it so far...

That's okay, my Papa's the strongest man in the world, he can do it!
