I like solving puzzles. That's almost all I did at home when I traveled with Professor Layton.

...Hey. Didn't you say you knew him?

Puzzles, huh? Can't say I'm all that good with them, but maybe there's a way to do them here, as well?

Ahh, I did, but. Turns out it was just this place messing with my head.

Oh, I can read books about them and write down word puzzles and things like that. ...It just isn't the same sometimes.

...Oh. [That is such a depressed sound.]

Have you heard of Shogi? It's something that might be right up your alley.

[ Oh no, don't sound so depressed, kid. ] Hey, it may all be fuzzy now, but...from what I remember, he was a good guy.

Shogi? ...No sir. What is it?

[But he was hoping for someone from his world who wasn't a lying backstabber sort of a criminal potentially untrustworthy.]

It's a boardgame! One that requires thinking and planning ahead--So, in a way, it's kind of like a puzzle.

[ Poor Luke. One day the Professor will show up and all will be right with the world. ]

Is it like chess?

A little harder that chess, but it is similar.
